With surging demand for more digital services to support the education service delivery , other initiatives currently being planned for include tools to extend access to education data using mobile phones, and information systems to support school leaders to manage information around schools, enrolment, staff and assessment. Kiribati Open Education Data App
The Kiribati Open Education app is designed to provide open access to data and information published by the Ministry of Education on sector performance. This provides school leaders access to information on the numbers of schools, teachers and national achievement on standardised examinations.
OpenSIS - School Information System
Seamlessly integrated with the exisiting MoE systems and designed empower school leaders with the tools they need to manage their schools on a daily basis. OpenSIS is software package that allows school leaders to keep track of student enrolment, attendance, internal assessment, school finances and much more.
